Automation and Computer Science Faculty
A student-oriented guide for incoming exchange students.
Overview
Incoming Erasmus+ mobility allows international students to study at the Automation and Computer Science Faculty for one semester or one academic year. This page is structured consistently with the outgoing mobility page and explains the process, academic expectations, and practical steps in a clear, student-friendly format.
Who Can Apply?
- Students officially nominated by a partner university under an active Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement
- Bachelor's or Master's students in Automation, Computer Science, or closely related fields
- Students who meet the language requirements of the selected courses (usually English)
Mobility Periods and Semesters
Incoming students may choose one of the following mobility periods, depending on the agreement with their home university:
Semester 1
Fall semester, typically October - February.
Semester 2
Spring semester, typically February - June.
Full Academic Year
Semester 1 + Semester 2, subject to agreement and availability.
Overall Process (From Nomination to Arrival)
1. Nomination by the home university
The process starts when your home university officially nominates you as an Erasmus+ incoming student.
2. Application to the host institution
After nomination, you submit the required application documents to the host institution within the announced deadline.
3. Academic review and acceptance
The relevant department(s) review course compatibility, prerequisites, and capacity constraints.
4. Confirmation and preparation
After acceptance, you finalize your Learning Agreement and prepare travel, accommodation, and insurance. If the majority of your courses fall within the Automation department, your Erasmus coordinator is Cristina Mureșan; if they fall within Computer Science, your coordinator is Camelia Lemnaru. Your Learning Agreement should be sent to and signed by whichever coordinator matches your selected courses.
5. Arrival and enrollment
You arrive at the host institution, attend orientation activities, and enroll in your selected courses. Email the Erasmus Coordinator to notify them of your arrival.
