Research description
SINU University Information System
The main goal of the project was to develop a University Information System (Sistemul INformatic Universitar SINU). Work partners were European University Information Systems (EUNIS), University of Beograd and CzechTechnical University in Prague.
The research areas covered in the project were:
- Data Modeling, Abstract Data Models
- Large Database Systems
- Embedding Intelligence
- Generative Power of Model
- Connection between Relational and Object Oriented
- Interface Prototyping - increases Productivity of Design and Controllability
- Extended Transaction Processing Models Achievements
The main achievement is an ongoing project composed of a Framework for Developing Informational Systems and a University Information System. A QBE to SQL Query Translations and Web Based Databases Basic structures were also developed.
The database and information system includes: academic objectives, academic resources, academic results, schedule, academic evaluation, financial resources and synthesis.
